About Us

Menor is the head adult instructor at our capoeira studio. Originally from Pennsylvania, he began training capoeira at age sixteen. He has had extensive experience in capoeira both traveling and teaching all over the US and Brazil. His experience includes training and fighting in both capoeira and muay thai, as well as instructing gymnastics. Menor continues his capoeira training under Mestrando Jamaika. His enthusiasm and love for capoeira and his students as well as his broad talents and abilities allow us to proudly offer the best capoeira instruction in Utah Valley.

Azul is the head kid class instructor, and assistant instructor for the adult classes. She is from Utah, and began training capoeira at age eighteen. She has had years of gymnastic and musical training and competing, as well as years of teaching experience in both music and capoeira. She has traveled all over the US for capoeira, and continues to train with Menor and Mestrando Jamaika. She has a love for teaching and works hard to provide the best facility for learning and training capoeira in Utah Valley.

Salsicha (Mark Hernandez) is the assistant kid class instructor. He is from Utah, and began training capoeira three years ago here in Lindon. He is a gifted and natural teacher, who is very energetic and great with kids. He's also a talented musician, honors student, and a valuable asset to our studio.
